Paci Users

Hello,

My two little ones take a paci at nap and bedtime. We quit giving it during the day at 9 months and they seem to do fine. We use the Nuk brand and I know they have larger sizes. We are still using the same ones since birth. Should I be buying new ones to increase the size? Just don't know if it really matters.

 

I did just because the size of their mouth grows. Also, and I just found this out myself, you're supposed to replace them every couple of months because the plastic begins to break down.

 

I haven't. We're approaching two years here and Ainsley's are still 0-3 months.

 

I do just because you are supposed to replace them every so often (which my son still has some 0-3 but we did buy him the one size up too).

 

I got some of the bigger ones once, and Zoe did just fine with it, but Johnny spit his out. I think it just depends on the kid. My sister for some reason ended up with big ones when her son was a baby, so he's always used the larger size. For me, though, I was totally silly and decided to stick with the small sizes a little longer b/c the bigger ones were too much of a "big kid" color.

 

I have tried to go up a size with Jake but he won't take them. He just takes it out and stares at it. :blink:

Hannah is in the larger size the 7-18 months nuk, but Jenna is really happy with the 0-6 month. give it a try.
