Our babies last feeding for the night is 10pm and they eat about 6oz. When they wake up to feed around 4am or 7am(if they sleep through the night) their diaper is so full that pee has soaked through their pjs and swaddle. We position them on their sides with a sleep positioner and they always soak through the side they are laying on. Is there any overnight diapers for size ones??

Try a larger sized diaper. Thats what we use. It is much cheaper and works great!

I don't know about overnight diapers but I do know that you can get wool covers. I use them for my nine month olds and my 3 year old. You can get them from cloth diaper web sites and they work really well. I have put them over regular diapers and my boys stay dry. Good luck

Everytime I put our boys on their sides, they pee out the leg of their diapers. It doesn't even have to be a full diaper. I searched for overnight dipapers, thinking the same as you, and the smallest I could find were size 3. I'm not sure what to tell you as a solution. I've just accepted it as our reality and put a doubled-over receiving blanket under their bottoms so I don't have to change the sheets everytime.

my girls are VERY large pee'ers. What has worked out well from us is just as the PP mentioned about the bigger size diaper. Mine are currently in sz 3 diapers during the day which fit well, but then for night time, i put them in sz 4's and they don't leak.

For a baby in size ones, I would definitely go up to the next size diaper for overnight. I had the same problem with my two when they started STTN.

They don't make overnight diapers until size 3, so I just would do the next size up. Also make sure any "parts" down there are adjusted in the opposite direction of the side they are laying on. You can also get cloth diaper covers to put over reg diapers.

not sure if you got your night issues worked out... I had similar issues, though our babies are 16 months old...

we cloth diaper and our cloth wasn't working at night... it was gapping in the legs and leaking etc. so luckily they make overnight in our size... but I didn't like the expense. anyway the pp mentioned cloth covers...

I wanted to point you to what I've come up with for ours... fleece shorties.

Diaperswappers is a forum for cloth diapering mommas. And the thread I posted a link to is a for sale of random things a lady has, and it shows wool and fleece "shorties" or "soakers"... they are pretty cute. I actually made some for myself and they were pretty easy. Since I could customize them for our size and the thickness of the big honking cloth diaper underneath etc. anyway, you could also probably search Etsy.com for diaper soakers. Here's a link to someone else's there...

Not sure of either seller, but just wanted to show you some alternatives... They are only $6 each... and are pretty easy to just wash with your regular laundry. I was amazed the first night I used them, the babies didn't wake up, and the cloth diapers were soaked! the fleece stayed dry and their pjs too. YAY! If you are crafty and can sew, there are patterns online, pm me if you want that type of help. good luck to getting a good nights sleep!

I also have to put my boys in the next size up for night time. They wear size 2's during the day....but 3's @ night time. They still sometimes leak if they wake to nurse a couple times....but that is b/c they lay on their sides or flip onto their tummies during the night. They will almost always leak when they roll themselves over & sleep on their tummy....no matter what size diaper they have on. :(

I think that Size 3 is the smallest for the Huggies, and I'm not sure about the Pampers. You can get things called diaper doublers at BRU that are absorbent pads you put into the diaper to add to the absorbency. Or go up to a size 2 for overnight.

I don't know what size they start at, but we use Pampers Baby Dry and they are made to wear for 12 hours. We use the regular size that they are supposed to wear and they work great!! We are in size 3.

Ditto getting a bigger diaper, especially since they are 2.5 months old and still in size 1's. I've found that once you hit the weight of about half what the recommend weight limit is, then it's time to move up to the next size. Your boys may not have "outgrown" the size (especially since the elastics are so good on diapers now), but they may have outgrown the "capacity" of the diaper, how much pee it can hold! :)
