Overnight diapers?

My girls aren't even close to sleeping through, but they almost never poo at night now, and diaper changes wake them up more than I'd like. So I want to get them in an overnight diaper, but when I went to the store they didn't seem to have any for kids smaller than 22 pounds (ours are about 15-16 pounds now).

Are there overnight diapers for smaller babies? If not, what do/did you do for night time diapers at this size?

    Thanks!

No, they don't! I remember having the same problem! What I did was I invested in about 6 cloth diapers with the velcro and the plastic liner on top. Here is a link to different ones: http://www.softclothbunz.com/

I put the cloth on top of their disposable diapers, just at night. It would keep their clothes dry and they would sleep really comfortably! When they got bigger, I bought training pants which I put on top of their diaper. (I had boys and they are notorious for peeing through!!)

My sister used to put super absorbent maxi pads in their diapers, she said that worked.

My kids are older then your but don't weigh much more. I use regular diapers and don't change them until the morning. I have only had leaks a handful of times. However, mine are only nursing one time in the night so yours may have more feeds that cause wet diapers. I think as long as your kids don't get diaper rash it's o.k. to let them go until the morning.

We use Huggies Overnights Size 3 - package says 16 - 28 lbs. Emerson is on the small side and it fits her ok. I haven't had a problem with them and I've used them for over a month now.

I have always used Pampers BabyDry diapers for overnight. They have worked great for us, and mine feed (bf) anywhere from 1-5 times per night and have HUGE diapers in the AM.

I also use Huggies Overnights in size 3. I can only find the size 3 at a few stores though. Target and Walmart around her carry size 4 and 5, but not size 3 for some reason. My DD is only around 16lbs. too and they fit her fine.

On Christmas Eve I did forget to bring an overnight to my parent's house and we got them dressed and fed for bed before we left their house, so I just put 2 diapers on each of them and it worked fine. I wouldn't want to do it every night though because that would be a waste of diapers.

See if you can find the Huggies Overnights size 3. I used them for my oldest too.

I use regular Huggies Supreme and A&D at night and don't have leaks unless the diapers are starting to get too small (like when we made the switch from size 1-2 to size 3)...

I just use regular diapers and it seems to be working fine. My babies are about the same size as yours. Their last bottle is at 6:30pm and they don't eat again until 7am. Sometimes the snap area on my daughter's onsie feels a little damp, but my son never feels wet in the morning.

I jut use a regular diaper, (huggies) and I haven't had any leaks so far. I put it on them after their bath about 5:45 and they wear them until about 6 am.

i just used a regular diaper until last week i tried one size larger and that works even better! They have the diaper on for 12.5-13 hours and no leaks. Even when they did have a leak it never woke them up. It was just a pain for me to have to change the crib sheets. I just make sure to slather on A&D on their fannies to protect them...

My babies are about the same weight as your babies, and we use Huggies overnights #4 or Kirklands #4. The 3s weren't keeping them dry all night, and believe it or not, the 4s fit them pretty well.

We use the huggies overnights size 3 and we have since the girls were about 14 and 17lbs. They are sometimes hard to find but BRU sells them and I know Stop & Shop does and you can get them online at 1800diapers.com.
