Our Spring Break

We just got back from our second trip to the beach. I was so worried about the twins, lack of schedule, traveling, taking frozen BM for them, you name it. But they did EXCELLENT! They were freaking rockstars the whole time and I only heard a few peeps out of Samantha on occasion. I just wanted to share some pictures. The older child (red-head) is my niece. We also stopped at some caverns on the way home. So fun!

Soooooo cute! I love the picture of them crawling to the water! Oh, and the matching pjs with the giraffes on their butts! So tell the truth - how much sand do you think they injested? We're going when these guys will be 11 months and I'm wondering if they'll try to gobble up the whole beach or if one taste will be enough! I'm having a hard enough time keeping the grass out of their hands/mouths at the park!

 

Thanks ladies. I of course think they are perfect cuties but I'm a bit biased! And the babies also had argyle shirts on, you just can't tell in the pictures. My mom always buys us matching stuff and I just go along with it. It won't last much longer that they won't want to be matching with me!

As far as sand, they ate A LOT! I could not keep it out of their mouths and I had a hard time keeping little shells out of their mouths too. So I found a few big shells that they couldn't get past their mouths and just let them go to town on them. Hopefully our next trip in August will be better as far as things in the mouth goes. But they aren't sick and didn't seem to mind all the ingested sand, so whatever. I'm not at all a germ-phob so I wasn't really phased by it. Good thing too. I can't imagine being worried about stuff like that at the beach because it just wouldn't be any fun. They were filthy everyday we left and had bellies full of sand!
