I feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful person taking care of my girls while I'm at work. Yesterday I came home from work and she had done a craft project with the girls. They turned 18 months this week and to commemorate that, she used glitter paint and put their hand prints on two large rocks, wrote their names on them, and then sealed them so they can stay outside! There aren't enough thank you's in the world to thank her for how much she cares about our girls.

That's so awesome! It's so wonderful knowing that your girls are in good hands when you aren't with them! Snap a picture of those rocks and post it for us!

How great is that! Lucky kiddos to have such an awesome sitter. I feel the same way about Nadia's preschool teachers -- they come up with such cool and creative activities for the kids, which is good because I am a big fat zero in that department.

That does ROCK! I'm sure it makes leaving them much easier when you know someone really cares. Congratulations on choosing a super sitter.

Wow, can you tell her Florida is nice and warm this time of year. Maybe she would like a small vacation. I could use a break!

WOW! You are so lucky to have such a great person who obviously loves kids!

In fact, I have to admit I'm a little jealous....your babysitter does arts and crafts with your kids. Mine? Well, mine eats all our food, is always late with really lame excuses. I let those slide, but yesterday, I came home to both my girls with diaper rash cream all over their hair (after 3 washes, it's still not completely out of one of their heads), on the dog's head, on the couch, on the printer and all over their slide. She said it happened when she was in the bathroom. When I told my husband what happened, he said, "was she constipated?" I'm starting to think that I have to buckle down and find someone else....

Well unfortunately the sealer didn't work as well as we hoped!!! We had a lot of rain this weekend and the handprints have started to peal off :( The writing is still there so I think its because she used washable paint. When I go pick the girls up this afternoon I'll find out what she used and if we can redo it because it was really adorable. After that I will post pictures I promise!

(and yes I feel very VERY lucky to have found such an awesome person to watch our girls while I'm at work. She and her whole family are like part of our family now!)
