Our Mo-Mo Twins

Hi everyone, I thought I would just check in. I'm the mom expecting mo-mo twins who also has the husband with the broken feet!!

The twins were confirmed mo-mo on April 12th and on May 10th I went back to the peri for an ultrasound. I was so scared that we'd get there and find out that something bad had happened but they are doing wonderfully! Heart rates were both in the 150 range and one was measuring 7 oz and the other 8 oz. At 18 weeks, they are right on schedule.

I'll be going inpatient at 24 weeks, which will be June 21st...so that's coming up really fast. The hospital is an hour and a half away from home. I'm not looking forward to leaving my dogs at all. If only they could understand what I'm doing and why I'm doing it. They are pretty sensitive to change so I worry.

My husband is getting closer to being healed everyday and he should be able to start trying to walk by the time I go to the hospital. He won't be able to work yet so that frees him up to go stay with his sister down by the hospital I'll be staying at so it'll be really nice having him there to keep me company every day. I know a lot of mo-mo moms don't have that luxury since most husbands have to stay home and work and take care of the kids.

The best news of all is that we found out that we are having girls! We are very excited about that! We would have been happy with boys too but twin girls just sounds like so much fun!
