Our Great Week Ei And My Daugthers "autism"

We had the best week last week.

1. The boys had been recommened for SLP/DT eval with EI. They both passed with flying colors and even since the eval have had a boom in language and developement, 1 can walk down stairs without holding on, the other can open doorknobs and kick ball.

2. My daughter had her regular apopintment with her neurologist. She has some developmental delays due to mild hypotonia, but they also thought she was possibly High Functioning Autism or Asperger's. The Dr. feels at this time we can pretty much rule out those 2, while we won't have the official Pysch testing done until age 6 because the dev delay portion covers her until that age for the school district, and she's not sure what diagnosis we are looking at . Possibly non-verbal learning disability. We are just so blessed and over-joyed that she is moving out of the Autism Spectrum... it has been a trying and stressful almost 2 years but we have worked so hard, and done as much as we can and the dr is AMAZED at her progress...
