I'm going crazy because we decided not to share the names with friends and family. So, semi-anonymous internets, here they are:

    Baby A - Thalia Lyn

    Baby B - Calliope Anne

DH is a writer so the first names are muses from Greek mythology. The second names are family names. Calliope will be Calli for short. Thalia is pronounced (or we plan to) tah-lee-a. It will take people a bit to get used to, but you wouldn't believe the names I see as a teacher.

LOVE THEM!!! I wish my husband was more open to non-traditional names. He thought Lydia was too "out there"!

Congrats on picking names and can't wait to see the little faces they will represent.

Thanks! My husband didn't like the more traditional names in my family. So, we compromised. I'm happy either way.

Very tasteful and beautiful. I like non traditional names. Hopefully they won't have to 'share' their name with as many children as a "mary" would have to.
It's nice to finally put a name on a little bean. Do you know who is who yet, or are you waiting til you see them?

    Beautiful names!
(And I still remember my Greek myth- I recognized them as muses off the bat!)

    Very cute.

Here in Mexico a lot of Thalias go by Tali. So you can have Talli and Calli if you feel like matching them, but yet their full names are very individual. I like that, you get the best of both worlds.
