Our Girls have arrived!

After 10 weeks of bedrest, I actually made it to my scheduled c-section date! All went well, and at 7:58 am on Thursday, May 24th Morgan Ann and Cameron Jean made it into our world. They weighed 6#1 oz and 6#2 oz, and were both 19 1/4 inches long. No NICU time or any special care needed!! The girls are eating well, sleeping well, and are sweet as can be. I can say after seeing how fragile they seem at 38 weeks gestation, compared to my singleton born at 41 weeks, I'm glad the bed rest paid off in healthy babies. Good luck to all of you making the long journey to delivery. Being pregnant with twins is honestly the hardest thing I've ever done, but it is of course all worth it to see them now.

I am impressed after 10 weeks of bed rest! To make it until 38 weeks and have 2 6lbs babies, that's just great!!!

Congrats on your girls. I am looking at 10+ weeks of bedrest right now to get me to 35 weeks, it's nice to hear it's do able.
