Our girls are here!

    Lucy and Jane made their appearance Tuesday, October 27th at 11:42am and 11:44am. They were induced at 36 weeks, 4 days because the perinatologist decided Jane was measuring in the "extremely small" range and felt she would do better outside (I have some serious questions and doubts about that, but I'll save that for another post). They are beautiful and perfect and are still hanging out in the NICU for a while until they can take all their food orally. The NICU is not fun, but our nurses are great, and I'm so thankful that our girls are doing well for the most part.

    Congrats!!! They are beautiful! Interesting that your Dr. did make that call, because their weights seemed really good. Glad they are here safe and sound though.

    Congrats!!! Weights don't seem bad to me at all ... but again, you said you would be saving that for later! Enjoy!

    I must ask, though... where did you get the A and B caps? Those are adorable! Best wishes for a speedy NICU stay.

    Thank you! The hospital staff put those hats on them, and we just capitalized on how cute they are! I'm hoping they'll be home no later than the middle of next week...
