Our girls are here!

It's been so incredibly busy and so chaotic, but had to take a quick moment to let you all know that our girls are here!!

May 18th I went in for a scheduled c-section. We did a quick sono and found out that both twins were head down so we decided to induce instead. Unfortunately, somewhere between the sono and Baby A’s delivery (which, btw, was incredibly difficult and traumatic due to her having flipped to coming out posterior and required forceps to deliver!), Baby B flipped BACK to breech position. OB could not turn her so we headed to the OR for a c-section delivery of Baby B.

So at 10:58am and 11:36am, twin A; Nicci and twin B; Cara arrived! Nicci weighed in at 5lbs 8 ounces, and Cara weighed in at an even 6lbs. Both had great APGARS so no need for any NICU stay!

We’re home now and doing well!

Congrats Momma... Hope to see you in the first year in the next few weeks... I think Im going for c-section, my nightmare has been having a VBAC then having to get a c-section, but after reading your story I know there's hope.

So does this mean when people ask you how how you delivered them you can say both c-section and vaginal? Whoa!! That's tough, but it's great that you and the babies are doing good.

Sounds like everything went pretty well. A little bit of a bummer that Baby B flipped back around but good to hear everyone is healthy and home together.
