Our first pee-pee on the potty!

I bought the girls a potty a couple of months ago, and we've just been talking about it and showing them how to use it - that kind of stuff. I usually ask them if they want to sit on it before they get in the tub at night, and they usually sit for about two seconds and say "all done" and get up. Last night we did the usual sit on the potty before getting into the bathtub and Bella pointed down and said "pee-pee" and then "all done" and when I lifted her up she had peed! I know we're probably nowhere near being ready to start training, but it was pretty cool that she did it!

OMG!! So exciting!! We are also getting towards being ready for the training process. More so with Arwen. I think that's a great idea to put it by the tub before they go in. They almost ALWAYS pee as soon as they get in the tub. Great idea. Thanks.

Keep going with your routine and when she does it...praise heavily! WOW - WTG!

 

Both of my girls love sitting on the potty, however, they each have only pee-peed once. They don't want to get off the potty. They will both let you know when they want to go by taking their pants off and trying to get their diaper off. I think they are really close to being ready for serious potty training, but aren't quite there. I think they are letting us know right after they have peed or pooped in their diaper. Anyway, the one time they have each gone in the potty we made a huge deal about it and they got even more excited!!
