Our first day of Preschool

The kids are having their first day of school today. I must admit it was bittersweet for me. I always said I wouldn't be one of those teary eyed moms and as I was exiting them building and walking to my car....I got teary eyed. I managed to get a few pictures:

I get to go through the same thing on Sept 9th! I know I will be teary eyed...but it is only 2 hrs on T/Th.lol- so not that long. By the time I get home, I will have to get them!

It went Ok. They were very upset that they didn't get the good behavior classroom reward at the end of the day. Apparently Ryan kept wanting to play with the toys and Sofia kept getting up and not following instructions. Hopefully next week will be better.

Oh darn. I am sure that is so normal for the first day. The first two weeks will probably be difficult and then they will probably look forward to it! :hug:

Sniff, sniff. Where does time go? It is hard to believe that so many of us are about to embark on this same milestone in the next couple of weeks. Congrats Trish!!!

 

Great pictures Trish!! I was the same way when I took my oldest DD to preschool. I'm sure next week will go better.

 

Trish, they look darling :wub: and that shirt is darling!!! I love how big the room is and it has light coming in. We are going in a basement of a church. It'll be a little different for sure!!
