our first day of potty training

    Just wanted to pop in and say hi to all of you venturing through this too.

    First of all, I HATE potty training. For me, it is the worst part of parenting (at least one of them)

    We spent yesterday outside with big girl/boy underwear on.Ds did great and pee'ed in the potty a few times. Dd loved to sit on the potty but didn't go at all. She wet her pants 1 time all day and held it the rest of the day! :icon_eek: HEr bladder must have been the size of my head! needless to say, her morning diaper this aM was huge!

    She is going to be the tough one, clearly!

    Hey you had a better first day then we had. They pee'd in every pair of underwear they had on. But Sienna at least pooped on the potty so I guess all hope is not lost.

    Oh my gosh, could have written this myself. My girls held theirs all day everyday for a week until I put a diaper on them to nap and at bedtime. I decided to wait and try again later. Very frustrating!!

    Our first day was very traumatic for Lucas, so I have shelved the idea for a bit.
