Our first day of daycare

Well I'm back to work now. It really isn't too bad. I don't think I slept a wink the night before because of anxiety but I think it will go well. Our daycare for the boys is so great. The women in the nursery room are so nice and are so excited to have the boys there. She was so insistant that I call during the day, I almost felt bad if I didn't. So when I did call she was so excited to talk to me and tell me how their day was going. I'm super impressed. I did think it was funny that she asked me if I wanted her to wake them up for feedings. I was so confused. I told her no, they wake up on their own. She insisted that babies there tend to take really long naps and moms usually want them to be woken up. I assured her that that certainly wouldn't be a problem with my guys. She should feel great if she can get them to sleep for an hour. Well, she still thought that they'd be great sleepers. So when I called, her reaction was "Oh my... we've just been up, down, up, down". I laughed. Told you so. Still, she was very lovely. I think the twins are going to love the nursery ladies as they get older. Now, hopefully, they will stay healthy and not bring home every creeping crud there is.

 

For a successful first day care day [for babies AND mommy ] !! It sounds like you've found a wonderful day care!! That's such a relief cause you always hear horror stories about them; it's nice to hear good ones for a change ^_^

*I've never been to day care myself nor have I taken the girls to one before. I'm a little nervous when it comes to the thought - can you tell? :lol:*
