Our first big ouchie

Aerial (22m) bumped her chin on the bath tub last evening :mellow:

I have taught them to be careful in the tub, stay away from the knobs/faucet, sit on there bums and not to stand up in the tub without my help, they get time out for not doing/doing so. Anyway, She started to stand up while I was washing Alexa. I don't think I even got her name out to tell her to sit and was reaching for her, but caught her to late as didn't want to knock over Alexa too. Aerial bumped her chin real bad on the side of the tub, could have been worse, I think I relived her fall at the end. Took her to urgent care, Alexa and hubby stayed home. Aerial got four stitches, she was real brave though, only cried when they were putting in stitches. I feel like a bad Mommy now

Bathtub accidents happen a lot... its so slippery in there!

Awww, poor sweet girl and poor mama! I have been there - Katie (16 months at the time) fell in the tub. I was drying Lilly and Katie stood up in there, took a poop, and then fell. Ugh. She had a black eye for almost 2 weeks, including Mother's Day. I tried not to beat myself up, because you can't prevent everything, so please don't beat yourself up, too.

 

Oh no! Poor punkin. Hope she is feeling better soon.

 

Poor baby!! Poor Mommy!! I'm sorry you had your big ouchie!! My two stand in the tub all the time and we have been fortunate so far! :hug99: You are not a bad mommy!!
