Our baby boys are here

    I was supposed to have a C-section on 3rd July (at 36w 2 d) as my boys were not growing as much as the ob would have wanted to.
    When I went to see my ob on 1st July for a check up, she suggested that we try for vaginal delivery. I was not too sure about it, as Baby B was breech and I did not want to recover from both vaginal delivery and C-section. But my ob was very optimistic about vaginal delivery.
    I trusted her.
    I was induced for labor on 2nd July at around 8 AM. And my boys were born at 7:29 and 7:34 PM. I had to push Baby A (we have named him 'Avyay') and baby B (Amogh) was extracted out. All in all, my ob was awesome and it was a great delivery.
    Both boys were in NICU for about 2-3 hours (to test their sugar levels). But they came back to our room after that. Sadly, Avyay had higher levels of bilirubin and he had to stay under lights for 2 days, but luckily the machine was placed in our room and so, we all could be together. I was so nervous about them placing my baby separately, but that never happened. Thank God!!!!
    We all came home on the 6th of July!!!!!

    WooHoo! Glad you got the vaginal delivery! Love the picture of them both swaddled together! They are adorable! :wub:

    Oh...forgot to mention that...
    Avyay weighed 4 lbs 13 oz.
    Amogh weighed 4 lbs 10 oz.
