Our babies are here!

Well my two muchkins decided to arrive on friday. It all started thursday about 1:00pm , i had just taken a shower and thought i was still wet from shower.Part of me thought maybe it was waters but it was just a few drops. I had some errands to do , so i went to store and bank, then came back back home and took my daughter to the orthodontist.When we were leaving there, i thought i peed myself.My daughter came in with me.i checked and was told by my 11 yr old daughter that my waters had gone. It was pretty funny. Needless to say we rushed out of there to home. I called the midwife,she said to give it an hour and call her back. In that hour i soaked quite a few pads.So midwife had us come in.Make a long story short. They confirmed that waters had gone , they gave me antibiotics and some steriods for the lungs. Contractions didn't start until 10am Friday, at 12:20 our boy Cameron was born 5lbs 14oz and at 12:27, Alyssa quickly followed weighing 5lbs 8oz. Both came really quick. I had no tears,woohoo!!! Neither had to have oxygen or anything else.We were going to go home saturday but pediatrician wanted to watch them one more night cause they were early and twins. So we got to go home sunday. All are doing well now.Breastfeeding is going really well so far. Milk is in and haven't got engorged yet. Yah!! They are feeding like champs.
I had no drugs, all natural. Towards the end i used a little gas and air. That was a godsend. They really need that in the states. It was wonderful stuff.

Congratulations! You are amazing...all natural. It CAN be done! Enjoy this special time and take tons of pictures. It all goes (cliche alert, cliche alert) by too fast.
