    I had my scheduled c-section on 7/8/09 and it went smoothly! I am too overwhelmed right now to go into detail (just came home from the hospital after a week's stay) but both babies had low platelet counts and my girl was taken straight from the O.R. to NICU and spent several days there. She had to have platelet transfusions and something called IGIF. My boy got to room in with me and went over to the NICU for several hours a day for his IGIF treatments. He is doing very well and his platelets are now in the normal range and her platelets are still low but not too low. They have to go to the doctor's twice a week for a platelet count.

    Anyway--
    Teresa Ann "Tessa" was 6lbs 11oz and 17 1/2"
    Griffin Lee was 5lbs 8oz and 18 1/2"

    Thanks to everyone who has been supportive on this board throughout my pregnancy! I'm off to the first year!

    Congratulations on your arrivals. Sorry about their platelet counts. I hope it solves itself quickly!

    Congrats!! So sorry to hear they've had some issues. :( Here's to hoping they keep resolving and everyone can be happy and healthy!
