Normally most babies don't have a 3 month WBV but our pedi wanted to check in with us and make sure some of our feeding issues were getting better. Well we were in for a shock as both babies gained a LOT of weight.

DD is now 12 lbs 14 oz and 59.5 cm in length (she went from being in the 25% percentile for weight to now being in the 60th!!)

DS is now 13 lbs and 7 oz and 60 cm in length (he was originally in the 10th percentile for weight and is now a whopping 70th). He still has some catching up to do on his length though :) Our pedi thinks we need to start adding rice pablum to his cereal in the next couple of weeks b/c he is eating 35-38oz per day and is always hungry vs. DD who is eating 21-25oz which is more appropriate.

I couldn't believe it, they are SO big and don't look like little newborns anymore (sniff). Anyhow, the pedi said DD will certainly talk first and sit up first. She is more advanced in terms of being attentive and "talking". DS on the other hand, she thinks, will walk first and run like the wind. He is a VERY active little boy. Overall, she thinks that DS is a little more immature developmentally(i.e. his adjusted aged) vs. DD who is at her 3 month old milestones. It's hard not to compare don't you find? I am trying to just look at them as individuals but gosh darn it sometimes you look at one and think holy crap she talks and he's just grunting all the time.

:woohoo: We've survived 3 months, here's hoping it gets a little easier and easier !!! Thanks for listening.
