hi everyone! I can't believe it.. it seems like yesterday we were all hanging out in the expecting forum.. some longer than others Well, after 6 months of bedrest, 1 month of NiCu time, Jack & Luke are rowdy 1 year old monkeys! The first year.. sleep? it was feast or famine.. i'm happy to say now, that sleep is a regular activity over here. Our first b-day party was at the park and our theme was Monkey See, Monkey do.. i made the cakes and we decorated with monkey stuff, including curious george. I served banana pudding, yellow and brown cupcakes and hot chocolate.. it happpened to be the coldest day this year in tx and we were all fREEzing, but it was fun. I dressed the boys in monkey costumes that i picked up from old navy around halloween and i made the goodie bags and i put banana veggie puffs, monkey suckers and i even added some fisher price links and labeled them, "the missing links" It wasn't over the top, but it was fun with our family and friends. Here is our first year montage, that starts with their birth and ends with their birthday party. For those of you that can spare 9 minutes (sorry, i got carried away), check it out! Thanks so much for all of the support thus far and i look forward to moving on to the 1-5! http://www.onetruemedia.com/shared?p=1abab...medium=text_url

Happy 1st birthday to Jackson and Luke! Were your boys born at Methodist? My dd just had her twins there last Wednesday and they have the same blankets your boys have in their birthday video! Lindy, Mom to Stephanie and Nana to Cameron and Corey
I remember you from expecting. When you posted your birthstory I was so proud of how positive you had been. I was also so jelous that you were "done". I'm so glad you have had such a wonderful year. Your boys are adorable. We'll be joining you really soon.
Happy 1st year Jack and Luke! That montage was beautiful. I so wish we had a video camera in the delivery room. And I LOVE that rendition of Over the Rainbow - it is one of my favorite songs. We won't be over to the 1-5 board until next summer, but congrats on the move up and take care! Carina
