I think Sofia is having a growth spurt, she has been nursing like every 2 hrs for a couple days, and a few times she has eaten for like 20-25mins straight!
But last week she started bouncing, and she bounces while she eats. She either pushes with her feet or lifts her hips or pushes forward with her upper body.
My poor boob feels like its going to fall off! It is so sore! Between the nonstop feeding and the bouncing its really taking quite the beating!

I dont think I have a question... My boob won't fall off, right? And this too shall pass?? ;)

(But seriously is there a 6mo growth spurt? Is this normal? They'll be 6mo next week.)

Sorry, I was :rotflmbo: at your post!!! There have been several times I wondered if nipples could fall off

Yes, there is a growth spurt and yes, this too shall pass (with your boob still attached :winking0009: )

I have to laugh too! I told DH the I feel like my right breast defended me in a kick-boxing match that only it was present for.

Sorry to make light of your pain... Yeah, the growth spurts are killer...also the bouncing UGH! Sometimes I feel like I'm feeding the tanzmanian devil!

    Yup, this too will pass!

My girls have taken to latching on and then pushing on the back of the couch with their legs!

Daniel has been doing this exact same thing - pushes with his feet off the arm of the chair, or off the back of the couch if I'm tandem feeding on the pillow. Or sometimes he does this wierd thing like an upside down humping - thrusting his hips up and down. My nipples are sore too.

That happened for us at exactly the same time. I posted about it. I think growth spurt and teeth. 2 for DD and 1 for DS have sprouted in the last 2 weeks!
