OUCH!

Last night I had just laid down in bed. I was talking to my husband about the twins... can't remember what about... I guess it doesn't matter... anyway, I was laying there and my left foot is a little swollen, so I was turning it trying to work it out a little bit. The next thing I know, I get this huge zinger in my left side, by my uterus! OUCH!!! It hurt so bad, that it actually brought tears to my eyes. I called the doctor this morning, and they told me it was normal and to expect more from my uterus stretching. Not looking forward to that I can tell you! Anyone else with this???

 

*hugs* Sorry to hear you are dealing with it. It is going to happen. I guess it will be at different extremes for everyone. None of the stretching has brought me to tears, but darn close. I now try to keep in mind that room is being made for the babies to grow.

Yes-I got tons of those zingers-early on-I think I was told they were round ligament stretches-boy do they hurt! I think my round ligaments have just given out by now!

 

I got a ton of those around 25 weeks. My ob said it was my ligaments stretching. I had them earlier in my pregnancy and I still get them occasionally now, but around 25 weeks I would make one wrong move and it felt like I was being burned or the ligaments were ripping. It's a really nasty feeling!

I get those too! I compare it to hitting your funny bone only its on your belly!

 

Thanks for the reassuring! I feel better knowing it is definately normal! I told my hubby when it happened that eitherwe have 2 huge football players in there practicing their takles, or else I just got a heck of a zinger! Thanks again everyone!!!! :friends:
