OT - All alone on New Years....

    My Dad died 2 years ago tonight and I'm having a rough one...
    I told my DH to take my DD to a little party at our neighbors house so they could have some fun but I just can't bring myself to celebrate yet. It was a traumatic night for me and I just can't seem to get past it yet. He had a sudden heart attack just after midnight (So he actually passed on the 1st) and no matter what I do I just can't shake the emotions even 2 years later... :(

    I can feel both my babies moving around right now so I'll take that positive for sure but I think it's gonna be a long night.

    Sorry for the mushy post and I do wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year....

    I'm so sorry :hug:

    I hope you find some comfort with those 2 little ones moving around in your belly :)

    :hug: My mom died the same way in January 2007, just a few weeks after your dad. She was at my house the day before she died. I'll never forget the 2 calls from my dad giving me the news. Sometimes it still feels like yesterday.

    :hug: to you Joanna. On the positive side, I'm thrilled that your little ones are doing well. Here's to hoping that next year will bring you many joyous memories with DH, DD and your new twinkies!
