Do you mean photo albums or kids little books?

If you are talking about childrens books, I put some in their roon on a shelf & I keep most of our books in our living room in a big basket. They LOVE pulling the basket out & dumping all the books out to find the ones they want to *read* :)

I have baskets of books in every room. It is so important to read! I'm a teacher and kids tend to do better in school and actually enjoy reading when there are plenty of books in the home. I have some in the car, in the bathroom, the kitchen, the bedrooms, etc. We always find time to read about 5 times a day! We usually start our day reading and end with reading, reading while going potty, and reading in the car. There is always time!

We need more baskets! We have so many books. We have a shelf in DD's room, two shelves in our loft, some boxes under the daybed in the loft, some cubbies in the living room, and an overflowing basket in our bedroom- all kid-lit books.

I blame the public library. They have books for sale as a fundraiser- 4 kids' books for $1.

We have a Mac laptop and we have a program that lets us scan barcodes. This helps organize our books (as well as our DVDs and video games)

I have books in pretty much every room of the house, too. They rotate in and out of "favorite" status w/ DS, so... organization? Ha. As for those little "board" books, those were/are the BEST. We travel across state to visit family a lot, so we always had a toy bag in the car for road trips that included some board books strictly for out-of-the-house use (that way they're always "new" entertainment). They also came in handy for anytime he needed to be still for extended periods...grocery shopping, dr. appts, church, etc. I highly recommend keeping some in the car for those occasions.
