Operation Big Boy Bed

We took the crib apart today and the race car bed is in Liam's room. I cried as my husband took apart the crib. Can't believe my baby isn't a baby!! Wish us luck tonight!!!

We're switching to beds TODAY! They arrived a couple days ago, but we wanted to wait until the weekend, just in case no one gets any sleep.

And, it didn't occur to me before now to be sad -- thanks Maureen, now I'll probably be boo-hooing, too.

 

Success!!!! :banana: :woo: He got up 2-3 times at first, but when I put him down the third time, he didn't get up again until 7 AM!!!!! He stayed in bed all night which is a huge achievement here. I wish I could say the same for his siblings!! Meghan had a meltdown around 2 AM, it was pleasant. I was so worried that her screeching would wake him, but no.

Believe me, I feel the same way!

Good luck, Becca!! I guess knowing that there will be no more cribs in this house was too much for me. :blush:

about the crib thing! We moved almost 2 months ago and I had decided not to put the cribs back up in A&A's room and I even gave one of them to a friend that needed one badly - you should have seen me I could barely let go of the thing. If she had not been in such a desperate situation I would have brought both with us! I cannot believe we are facing that 3 !! doesn't it seem like yesterday we were all talking about sweet kicks and NSTs?!!!
