    Does anyone else feel like this pregnancy after twins is SO STINKING LONG!!! My twins were born at 35.5 weeks and now I am past that point and I just feel like it's time for this little bundle to come OUT! I want a healthy baby, but I know that 36 weekers do just fine. With my twins, Nate was 6.5 lbs., Drew was 5.8 lbs. and they both came home with me. I feel like this baby is BIG (around 40 lbs. is my estimation... :p ).

    I just think that 'they' (not sure who THEY is, but someone should make this happen!) should make it so all babies are 'cooked' by about 35 weeks and ready to come out! ;)

    Just wanting to whine and vent a bit, since it seems like s/he is in no hurry to make an appearance - I'm only fingertip dialated and about 50% effaced, and have been that way for the past 5 weeks..... {{{sigh}}}

    Congratulations, and we are glad you found us too. Its nice to have someone to lean on that understand what you are going through. I am not far enough along to feel like you do. I am preparing myself for a long pregnancy. I didnt find out I was PG until 8 weeks with my twins and then delivered them at 35.4 days so I only knew I was pregnant for 27-28 weeks and it went by really fast. I found out at 3.5 weeks this time so I am sure its gong to be a long pregnancy. Hang in there you are so So close!

    Hi Allison, glad to see you over here. I can only imagine how ready you are to have this baby. For me, the 1st and 2nd trimesters usually go fast, and then it drags at the end (when you want it to go really fast, lol). I see that Matthew has been doing better. I will continue to pray for him. Best of luck on your delivery (hopefully soon for your sake!).

    My twins were "full term" at 37 weeks but I'm just so curious to see what this baby will look like!!! So far, I know what one combo of DNA DH and my genes make (the boys are ID) and I'm just so curious to see what else we have made!! :)

    As a side note, my name is Alison, too, and I have a William, a Matthew, and a nephew named Andrew. Great minds think alike :)
