oohhh how I've missed you all...

I was put on bedrest last Tuesday and had NOOOO technology!! Our satelite tv was broken...and the phone company screwed up our DSL wires so we have had no internet! I finally realized late last night....the good ol' fashion dial-up! This one post has already taken me 30 min...but oh so worth it to be connected to you guys!

Question:
At 33wks and 6days I was found to be 90% effaced, not at all dialated...how long can I guess before these boys come? At 34wks 6days...I'm faaaarrr more uncomfortable than I thought, mostly from the pelvic pressure. I didn't want to go on bedrest, fought it tooth and nail...clearly my dr. knew that I would be encountering this...

Is it unreasonable to hope these boys won't come for another 2wks??

*Went to L&D on Friday night for higher bp and headache and just not feeling well...NST boys looked great! they sent me home with ambian. I have a dr's appt tomorrow...

Anyway..sorry for the ramble...just wanted some thoughts!!

Rebecca, No internet for SIX days!!! and on bedrest! :hug: I don't know what I'd do! :lol: Seriously though, I'm glad you have the dial up. I'm not sure how long you can go with being 90% effaced. What have your doctors said? I'm glad to hear that the boys are doing great. :good: Good luck tomorrow at your appointment.

I don't think it's unreasonable at all to think they might stay put for another couple of weeks. I think if you're not dialating ~ you've got some time. You've made it to 35 weeks (tomorrow) and that is awesome.

Im 100% effaced and a fingertip dilated... and they are putting there money on or around Thanksgiving..... IM SOOO glad you finally got connected back to us, I would have gone NUTS! :hug:

I am glad you are back online! I am new to this site and already need to come on daily being on bedrest talking to others who understand what I am going through. I had to post and say that I have two boys already and their names areChris and Ryan! Great names! I am 40% effaced as of 10/30 and keep getting pelvic pressure for the past few days. I am worried as I have many weeks left. I am also curious to see how long I have left. I am thinking Christmas if I can keep them in there for that long!

 

Hoping you make it your 2 more weeks! I am so glad you got "connected" again!!!!

 

:hug: I was wondering where you have been!! Glad to hear you are doing ok. Sucks about the bed rest and SUPER sucks about the internet. I don't think it's unreasonable at all to think you'll make it 2 more weeks. 35 weeks tomorrow (Thursday for me)! :woohoo: I think we're doing great chuggin along. We're almost there. Are you feeling ok? I'm in pain everywhere and I'm just wishing the days away. :blush: I know I should be appreciating every last moment of this pregnancy (and I am I swear!!) but I'm so ready for them to come so I feel better. Take care and get lots of rest. You're doing great!
