Only with twins!

Okay, so for whatever reason, the boys fought going to bed tonight...Owen started it and at some point, David took over the screaming. Finally, after about 30 minutes (with their sisters going to check on them every 5 mins b/c they can't stand to hear them sad...) there was finally quiet. So, DH heads out of the computer room and says "hey, something smells funny over here...come see what you think." Sure enough, once we hit the hallway, there was a strong "yukky" smell...I went in the boys room to check it out and found the boys in bed together, but with David's diaper BETWEEN them! I picked it up, and sure enough, it was poopy. So, I took it away and put it in the Diaper Champ, then went to move the boys to David's bed so that I could take the sheets off of Owen's. Well, I go to pick up Owen and find that David has smeared poop ALL OVER HIS BROTHER!!! It was on his leg, his stomach, his back...UGH!! But on the other hand I couldn't stop laughing...only with twins will they smear on someone else!! :rotflmbo: So I get Owen cleaned up and then move on to David, who is also covered from the waist down. He's now up and really mad that I won't let him out of bed...
So, while gross, at least I could see the humor, right? :laughing:

I have found that quietness is not always a good thing with these two!! but have yet to experience the joy of fecal art!
it is good that you were able to see the humor in it! you should have taken pictures to show them when they are much older!

My Brody does stuff like that, but Boyd is "better than that" and tells his brother it's naughty! LOL Brody has painted the newly painted wall, he's smeared it on the windows and sills (that's horrible to get out). Even still, he'll reach in his diaper and pull out and squish. So as soon as we smell, we run to the bathroom, and hopefully get him on the potty, or change as quickly as possible! LOL

It is true that only twins/multiples would smear poo on each other.

 

Great story. I was trying to picture it all going down. That hasn't happened here, YET!!! I would have a hard time holding my stomach--
