Online dating woman asks for money before first date?

Hello everyone. I've been online dating this woman who is in a different country. And she has on multiple occasions asked me for electronic transfer of money before the first date, slowly increasing amounts until I finally said no. She has also asked me about other financial matters such as how many savings I have, how much is my tax return. She has also been pushing me to get investments, and to help her buy a car for our future family ... all before the first date. I haven't even met her yet in real life, and she is pushing me into all of these financial decisions that I just don't feel comfortable doing at the current moment. Is she a gold digger?

Please help me make an informed decision, as I am at a loss as what to do. How can we characterize such a woman? Other than that she is very kind in words, she says that she loves me, calls me with endearing words, shows that she really cares about me. So some green flags and then also some red flags. What do you think?

 

I had a similar experience and it felt off right away. Now I mostly chat with strangers on a free random chat just to get a better feel for people before moving forward. If someone asks for money before even meeting, I take it as a red flag. There are way too many scammers out there pretending they're looking for a relationship, so I try to keep things casual and trust my gut early on.
