One week ago today my twins were born into this world to experience a loving family.

I was 35 weeks and 4 days. It started on Friday late night. I have been going to the hospital for severe painful Braxton Hicks Contractions. So I started having some and it would last about a minute. I was scared but I remember the Dr telling when I start having them to drink a cup of water.

But when I got up to get some water I had great pressure down there. I was like well last time I was at the Hospital I was 4 cm and I thought that nothing was going to bring me back to the Hospital to hear the same information about not being in labor and being still 4 cm.

Well. I sat on the toilet and the pressure was worse. I got up. I sat up on the bed and was waiting for the contractions to go away. BUt they continued and were intensifying. It was about 2 am Saturday morning. My husband came into the bedroom and I gave in to the pain and tears followed. I asked my husband to get my mom from downstairs. My mom came up stairs. I was askign her to look at my vagina because I felt something slowly leaking out.

She was like it is time to go. We have to travel about 25 min to another city for me to deliver. We gather all the kids into the car and my nephew who was staying the night with us. It took my about 20 min to get down the stairs because of the pain. The ride was making everything worse.

We arrived at the Hospital and my husband had to drop my out at the ER. I had about three nurses and a security officer come to the car. I was scare because the pain was coming about every 2 minutes and lasting a minute. They had to check me in the ER to make sure I could make it to the Labor and Delivery.

When I got upstairs things got started. They straps me up and the Dr came in. He was asking if my plan was still to do everything vaginally I told him I would like too. He explained to me and my husband about the consequences of both vaginally and c-section. I was scared. So they wanted to do measurements and see how the babies were either head down and everythign like that.

I was in such pain that I was just like get it done and check me and see if it is time for me to push.

They look and found out that baby b was breech and baby a head was down and descending into the vagina canal. I was happy. But they measurement baby b head and found out that his head was 37 week gest. and may not fit through the canal if I wanted to go through with everything.

He said in a situation like this he would suggest a c-section. I started crying because I was scared of the blood and cutting and something going wrong.

Still in pain..... I called my mom, sisters, grandma, SIL, MIL, and my husband and I talked decided to do the c-section. Anything for the health of me and the babies.

By this time it was 930 am and I was more than ready to start a spinal.

All prepped and done I was wheeled back to the OR.

It was time and as things started I just wanted to stay calm. My husband came in and was more than interested to watch the procedure and was excited about it.

My daughter was the first one to come out screaming.

Baby A: Isabelle Victoria Rose Beltran
    Length: 18 1/2 inches
    Weight: 5 lbs 7 ounces

My son was working himself out of me.

Baby B: Isaac Jacob Faroy Beltran
    Length: 19 inches
    Weight: 6 lbs 1 ounce

I asked if they had to go the NICU and the Dr and Nurses said "No these babies are going home with you. How did you have these babies in you?" They burned my tubes and sealed me up. No more children for us.

They couldnt believe they were so big. For the record the US was on point with their weights. U/S are great especially if you have the ones that are up to date.

My little ones are being breast feed and supplemented with formula. We came home and I couldnt be more fulfilled and happy to see my family complete. No more children for us just time to enjoy our lives as one.

I am just glad I made it to the end.
