One True Media

I have been really procrastinating with the boys One True Media dvd of their first year. I need to finish it this week! What songs did you use? I am using Over the Rainbow and this other one that I found on there for their baptism section but still need two more. I specifically need one for the pictures of their bday party. Can you think of any that would be good for that?

 

They have a "celebrate" in the style of the original song - It's a good one!!

I just listen to them and pick from the samples.... I can't think off the top of my head. I'll have to go look!

I joined the option where I can download songs so that gives a bigger variety. I know...I love over the rainbow. I wanted my boyfriends version (you know...Jason Castro) but it wont download for some reason.

 

OH, because it's not MP3 - it's probably itunes?

 

I don't know Nicole. I have Over the Rainbow, and then two Josh Groban songs. So mine are kinda calming.

Jack Johnson's song 'better together' is awesome for videos!

Always going to recommend Godspeed from the Dixie Chicks. Listen to the words and melody and try not to cry....those lyrics KILL me for a little boys. So so sweet. I try to sing it to my son (15) all the time, but he just rolls his eyes and tells me to stop. Here are the yummy lyrics:

Also love Takes my Breath Away by Tuck & Patti.... a MUST hear on itunes or wherever you listen. When you do, try hard not to completely melt into Patti's voice...such an amazing sound between a vocalist and guitar. (DH an I walked down the aisle to this, but it's "our song" for our wonderful family. Here are those lyrics:

3. This one song that is one of the one true media choices- I am using it for their baptism pictures. It is perfect. I dont know what it is called off hand but it says something like 'take me down to the river, cleans my soul'. And when it says, 'cleans my soul' it matches up with one of the boys being dunked in the water of the baptismal font (Orthodox- they get dunked all the way!)

I will listen to the second one you listed (I love the lyrics) and I also listened to the Jack Johnson song that pp said. I love Jack Johnson.
