One of my Twins is Potty Trained

Eli is potty trained. He's been ready for a couple months, but I didn't have the time of energy to get with the program since I was 9 months pregnant. As soon as the baby was born, and my mother was here to help. We worked on it, and within a week he was peeing on the potty regularly. The only accidents he had were because we didn't get a good aim or didn't get his pants down fast enough, and by week two he didn't have any accidents.

I was still putting a diaper on him for naps, but we forgot two times and he didn't pee even during his nap. :Clap: So I stopped putting him in diapers at nap time too. We even drove across the country from New York to Ohio, and he told us every time he had to go, and didn't wet his pants. The only trouble we are having is with pooping--he wants to poop standing up. LOL! Next step is taking away the night diaper.

I think the pooping standing up thing will be our biggest challenge too; Nate likes to brace himself against the furniture to help him push! :lol:

Congrats! How exciting!! I'm in no way looking forward to potty training with the new baby - well except for diaper expense!! LOL
