is so laid back!! no worries - she waits patiently to be changed, fed,
just whatever!! and then her sister is the total opposite - she waits for nothing!!! it makes me feel bad for Addison because I tend to let her sit while I feed or change Miss Ava! Ava does not want and will not let me put her down without a fuss (more like a scream!) and Addison is content with whatever!
I don't want Addison to feel neglected (I don't neglect her but I don't want her to feel that way!) Ava is just VERY demanding!!!
she can be asleep for an hour in my arms and I go to lay her down and she screams!
Anyone else have this problem and what can I do??

I have a similar situation. WHen I am tending to the 'high maintance' one, I often will look at my other son and talk to him. That way they are both getting my attention. Just today I had to do that. One of my sons is teething pretty bad so he was crying a lot and as i held/comforted him, I looked at my other son who was on the floor and I was talking to him. My son on the floor was smiling and kicking and having a blast.

My daughter has the exact same problem. Her girls were born a week after yours. Tiana is laid back and whatever is generally ok with her. Jacinda on the other hand wants what she wants when she wants it and expects you to know it before she needs it. Our little diva.
P.S. I read your other post and Jacinda has her daddy's coloring but mom's features and Tiana has mom's coloring and dad's features.
They are amazing little people aren't they???????

My boys have switched back and forth being the demanding one. Don't feel bad, twins often take turns "getting all the attention". Trust me, if your laid back ones need attention, they will let you know!

I had the same situation when mine were that age. It does change over time. My "laid back" one is now becoming more demanding and my "high maintenance" one is gettig better at entertainig herself.

Ours also did the 'switcheroo' on us. At about 6 months, the screamer became very laid back and content. She just sits back and takes it all in now, while her sister (who only really cried about 3 or 4 times as a newborn) fusses, whines, and cries about everything. Maybe she saw how it worked for her sister and decided to give it a try? Good luck and hang in there! Stephanie

M is the princess and Brooke just goes with the flow. M wants what she wants and she wants it now, she doesnt like to wait, she takes things from her sister, she, at this point is the dominate twin. B on the other hand is very emotional, she gets scared easily and if she happens to hear someone raise their voice her eyes well up with tears. Other than that she just is there for your amusement and happiness, shes content just looking around or being in a bouncer.
Its funny because M is soooo like me and B is sooo like daddy

I swear these girls crack me up sometimes

    HI,

My son Wyatt was very high needs for the first 5 months and Cole is now starting to be more needy (loves mommy, and wants to be held alot) so I think that you'll see them switch off over time.

I am very verbal with the boys so both get lots of attention from me. When my husband is home, I always make up for lost time with the baby who got the short shrift.

    Cheers,

    Teri D
