Well we are transitioning the babies from our room at night to their room and cribs because one of the boys is such a loud sleeper! He has a lot of gas and makes grunting sounds and just a lot of other noise at night. I have had to sleep on the couch the past couple of nights because I couldn't sleep. Our other little one sleeps so good!! He will fall asleep about 11pm and wake up about 6am.

Also my hubby is taking over all feedings tonight so I can get a FULL night of sleep!!! I am so excited!!!!(isn't that pathetic :pardon: )

I thought it was just my baby!! I have one that is a quiet sleeper but a loud cryer and the other grunts during sleep and is quiet all day while her sister screams like I've never fed her before.

Congrats on getting some much needed rest. That 1st month is a doosie...

LOL I have one of those too. My daughter is a dainty little flower in everything she does, including sleeping. I have to touch her to make sure she is still breathing when I check on her at night. My son is the complete opposite. That boy can wake the dead, even when he's asleep. He gurgles, grunts, toots, coughs and shrieks in his sleep. Amazing how different they are.

babies make a lot of noises when they are that little. this is why i had them sleep in their cribs from the beginning. whatever sleep i did get back then was very precious.

Oh man, me too! My daughter grunts and groans ALL NIGHT LONG! Then, around five a.m., she moves on to full on screaming! Her brother, sleeps quietly, soundly, and just kind of rolls his eyes! LOL.

I slept in the same room with mine for the first 5 months--it was torture. I'm a light sleeper, and I heard everything.

It's actually pretty normal for babies to be loud sleepers.

    Enjoy the full nights sleep!

Both of our boys made those noises in their sleep! They sleep nice and quiet now, but for the first several months… Lucky for me, once I get to sleep it takes a lot to wake me.

I've had a few noisy sleepers as well, makes you wonder how they can sleep through all of that grunting & moving around!

I hope you get some much needed rest tonight!
