Well I under estimated my Body. Just as I thought things couldnt get anyworse they have.

On Thursday while at work I began feeling very uncomfortable. Well I Decided to call my doctor and he told me once again to go into OB to be monitored. Well. I went it and sure enough it was contractions again. They werent going away with my procardia the doctor had prescribed me.

After that They put me on an IV and Started giving me some fluids. That was not helping either. The Hospital where I go does not Have an NICU. and the nearest one is an hour away.

They decided to move me on to Magnesium Sulfate and ship me out to the nearest hospital with a NICU because when my Doctor finally came into check me I was Dialated to a one and 50 percent Effaced but the babies were not engaged. So instead of the risk of delivering at a hospital that had no NICU and being separated from my babies they sent me in an ambulance on my way.

So I have been at Saint Mary's Hospital an hour away from home since Thursday night. I really want to go home. They have me on Some sort of pill also to help me stop my contractions and it is working. They are Slowly getting me off the Magnesium Sulfate so hopefully if I can be controlled on just the pill then I can go home but that wont be for another couple of days. They did have me on a trebutaline pill but that stopped working after a point also.

I am now Turned down to 1 Gram of the Mag sulfate So that is almost off. I dont get many visitors. My parents have visitied about two times and my Boyfriend stayed with me the first two nights. But now I am here on my own.

They have great staff here and they try their very best to do what they can to keep you comfortable.

They have different things for me to do such as this computer I am using is theirs. They have someone come give you a massage, pedicures, manicures, they had someone come today and bring their pet for you to see.

Yesterday I got a tour of the NICU and the staff seems great! I would be very happy if I had my twins here but they do need to stay in and cook for a little while longer. so hopefully everything goes good to where I can go home'

WISH ME LUCK! Thanks everyone for your support

Good luck! I'm sure it must be miserable but at least you are taking all of the necessary precautions. Keep those twinkies cookin! We like 'em well-baked!

Hang in there. Hospital bedrest is really hard, but it is the best thing for the babies. Keep them cooking.

    How far along are you?

Sorry I didnt mention. I am 31 weeks and 5 days. So I got a little bit to go. But if I have to stay here and they dont send me home anytime soon and I have to stay at leat to 34 weeks then they will send me back to my home town to deliver. at least that way every one can be around me and keep me company. They have means to take care of them at 34 weeks there but not this early.
