Ava was laying on her back in her crib while I took a shower - when I came back she was STANDING!!!!!! OMG!! I am still in shock!!! :icon_eek: she was looking over the rail :icon_eek: !! thank goodness she was in her bed at least her matress is a little lower - but dh is going to have to lower it all the way tonight!!!!!!! - since they sleep together we havn't lowered the matress in Addison's (we use it as a changing table!) I am so glad I had her in her bed OMG if she had been in the other one!!!!!!
Shocking, isn't it, when you walk in and they are looking at you over the rails. That's great that she's standing though!!!
Already!!! Strangely Thomas just did that for the first time today and he is about 1 1/2 months older than Ava. I walked in and there he was standing up hanging over the rail. Scary huh.

I knew she was master of escaping the bumbo but standing? this little girl is so busy!!!!I think she has been taking notes on how to do things since the day she was born (or maybe before - she has always been my active one!) I was stupid to assume that my sweet, tiny, girls would not be as active as their brothers were!!
That's quick! I am going to lower my dd's bed today since she can get herself in sitting position, rocks and pulls herself up while sitting on her knees. My oldest didn't pull to stand until 12 months ... but still walked at 14 1/2 months.
Oh wow, that is so awesome!! Yep, definitely time to lower the crib. I think it was around that time I lowered my guys as well. YAY AVA
