I got the mail this morning and there was a letter from the OB's office. I was thinking-great-now what test have I failed? LOL! I was shocked to see that my c/s has been scheduled! I knew the nurse was working on it, but hadn't heard anything. So-on June 10th, 2009, my boys will become big brothers and we will find out if it's a girl, or if it's a boy! I have to be at the hospital for 9:30 with a scheduled c/s time of 11:30. I am excited, but at the same time sad. I am thinking about my boys, and leaving them, and if we did the right thing(getting pregnant so early-in the sense of they will be 20 months apart-but we dealt with infertility, and wanted to try sooner in case it took a few tries-with the FET). I don't know how I am going to be away from them in the hospital. And all I can picture is them coming in to see their new sibling, and then having to leave...and crying because mommy is not going home with them. Gosh-I'm making myself cry now! Eek! Tell me it will get better and I'll be fine with all of this?!?!?! Lol! I'm just really glad it's not June 11th for the sheer fact MIL said it's her brother's bday(no offense to him), but that's all I would hear about!
WOO HOO for a date!! i am already feeling the same way about leaving the twins when we go to the hospital (((HUGS)))
Wow, seems so early to schedule it. But I've never had one, so that's probably why. Pretty exciting that you're in the final stretch and counting down. Your boys will do great and I'm sure it will all be fine, especially since they've got each other! My oldest 2 are just under 21 mo. apart and they're good friends! I think it's a great age split, though I didn't have twins then.

Yeah-I saw the OB last week and we started talking dates and when I would be able to book the c/s. She said if I could-go ahead and schedule it. The nurse tried that day, but said they weren't booking it yet. But by the end of the week-it must have opened up-because I got the letter today! Now-let's just hope this baby doesn't have a mind of his/her own!
Yeah for a date! I know what you mean ... I'm not sure how we are going to work it, if the twins are going to come see me in the hospital or not. Me and DH are trying to figure out if it would be better for them to not come see me in the hospital ... I'm afraid that they will see me, and want to jump all over me, and not get why I'm not coming home with them. I'm going to have to think about that ...
