OMG this was so sweet

I just had to share this story. Mitch and Kenna were sitting in the playroom just playing, not sitting next to each other or anything but just independently playing. I noticed they were each saying something one at a time. I started listening and by the time I could figure out what they were saying I hear this:
Kenna: Good night to the old lady whispering hushhhh
Mitchell:good night stars
Kenna good night air
Mitchell: good night noises everywhere...
Of course some other people might not have noticed thats what they were saying, but I did and it was so sweet...guess they really do listen to the books at night!!

One of my favorite times of the day is when I'm up in the morning and they start talking to each other in their beds -- and I eavesdrop through the monitor. They sometimes sing songs, sometimes recite books, sometimes name all the kids in their preschool class, and sometimes have real back and forth conversations. It's so heartwarming.

 

That is sooo sweet!!! My kids love that book too.
