OMG! It worked!

    First of all I just want to thank all the mommies that suggested the happiest baby on the block! My DVD came yesterday and it could not have come at a better time because DH was at work on a 48 hour shift and I was home alone. It was absolutely amazing! It was like a lightswitch went on and my babies just calmed down and were happy. I stress out every night when the sun goes down because I know its going to be the agro baby hour(s), and now I can relax. I Love my babies being happy :)!!!

    Whoohoo! :yahoo: I'm so happy that it worked for you! Twin mamas need all the help they can get with the witching hour!

    (And btw, YIKES about your DH's 48 hr shift!!! What does he do?)

    He is a paramedic (City of San Diego 2007 Paramedic of the Year actually :a_smil09: ) , starting next week he is going to have to work a 48 hour shift once a week!

    Wow, you must be so proud of DH, but poor you having him gone so long so often! At least now you have some tools for calming your babies. Yay for Dr. Karp :banana: !

    I don't have the DVD or book so don't leave me in the dark--- what specifically did you do?? We have a 3 hour Screamfest EVERY nite here and I am home alone four nites a week!!! HELP ME!!

    order it on amazon.com you can pay a few bucks to have it delivered tomorrow. Get the DVD.

    thinking about buying it, though we dont really have a screamfest here........so I dont know how much it will help, unless it comes with a Nanny. LOL.

    I just looked it up and the book and the video are both at my local library...so there's an idea too. Although, I got a chuckle b/c the book was listed as "damaged"...maybe some frustrated parent ripped it to shreds?? LOL!!

    We swear by it in this house too. It made DH a pro with our first son. Now I swear DH could swaddle, soothe and put to sleep a grown man!
