OMG! I went to the OB today......

I went to a different OB today (remember that the first one that I saw for this pregnancy and I did not see eye-to-eye to say the least).


On Sept 5th I was "measuring large" roughly 7 weeks in size.....today, with a different OB doctor that I LOVED!!!! I am measuring 16 weeks.......do the math with me........six weeks ago, I was measuring 7 weeks along (7+6=13) and today I am measuring EVEN LARGER

I am measuring 16 weeks along!!!!! She is sending me for an untrasound (Oct 31 at 2:00) to find a due date and see if it is TWINS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! My next appointmentt is Nov. 2 at 1:30 to discuss our findings at the untrasound.


Twins again would be great......a shock......but great!!!!!!!

Holy moley! How are your hormone levels?

 

Oh my!! I know I certainly was shocked with my twins ultrasound, but then again, that I am even pregnant without any help is amazing! I can't wait to hear the suspected news! Glad you liked the new doctor. Is he one you can return to ?

I have NO CLUE what my horomone levels are (it has never been tested in any of my pregnancies?!?!?!

The doctor is someone that I had never seen before, but have heard GREAT things about....I was not able to return to the origional OB office that delivered my first 7 kids


Needless to say, we are a bit shocked with the possibility of twins again........happy, nervous, etc.......we will know more on Oct 31!!!

 

YAY!! twins again... what a blast. Let us know.... I am so jealous really!! Okay I am also a lil crazy! LOL

They should be in your blood test they did at your first appointment.
I know they suppected mine because my levels were insane!

Oh my....I can't believe they are making you wait until next week!! i'd go crazy if they didn't just whip out the u/s machine right there and check!! sheesh!!!

The only blood tests that I have had for ANY of my pregnancies was the glucose test (one hour and three hour)....and then at the end of my pregnancies to prepare for surgery.


I guess that different OB's do thing differently.

OMG, I can't believe you have to wait a week to find out! Congratulations either way!

BTW, hormone levels (beta HCG levels) don't really tell you much. Plenty of people with singletons have "high" levels and plenty with twins have "normal" or low levels.

 

I SO would not be able to wiat! Goodluck finding out!

 

WOW! That would be so great to have twins again. Who knows maybe even a little girl too!

 

I have to agree that to wait another week for the ultrasound would kill me. I made sure that my first visit with my OB would involve an ultrasound, even if it was just a 3 minute one to get a count.
