OMG.. Diapers...

We went thru 2 packs of 96 newborn diapers in a week... I never realized that we would go thru that many!!

I am in shock!!

How many did you go thru in the begining? Is this too many?

 

We'd go through a fairly big bag over the weekend! You do go through a lot! It does get better!

 

in the begining we went through about 16 diapers a day, 20 on a bad day... Now we're down to about 8 or 10 a day..

In the very beginning we were going thru 16-20 diapers per day, so nope its not unusual. Now at 6 months we go thru we go thru about 12 diapers per day so it gets better.

 

8-10 per child per day..
it slows down when they go up sizes and poop less

if your bf you will go through more

Mine would each use 8-10 per day at that age but it does get a little better. They go through prbabably 6-8 each now.

 

I had a diaper service for the first month or so (I was using cloth) and I went through up to 24 diapers a day! I couldn't keep up with washing the covers. It's crazy! I ditched cloth for a while and am now going back (we only go through 12 diapers a day now). It doesn't last forever - don't worry.

OMG I know.... these girls go through alot. I used Diapers.com. They are cheaper for pampers than any where I've found and if you spend over $50 you get free shipping. It does take about 7 days for the delievery though.
