Omega 3 supplements...

Hello all. I was just wondering if any of you take Omega three or fatty acid supplements while you are pregnant? What brand are you taking?

I bought some at Wild Oats called Omega Mom (it's made by Country Life). Did any of you take these?

 

I did at first, as they were prescribed by my dr in the U.S., but they were expensive and it got to be a hassle since i couldn't go up to tucson when i was put on bedrest and then limited activity. It was then that i went for something local, and therefore stopped the omega 3 (fish pills, i call them)

the ones i took are called Duet, and was actually 2 pills, one regular prenatal vitamin, and the DHA/Omega 3 gel pill....

i'm taking primacare one prenatals and they have omega 3 in them...they are def. making me more "regular" sorry if tmi!

 

I was perscribed OptiNate by my MD, it's 2 capsules, one's a prenate and the other is a DHA capsule. It's a pretty low dose of DHA compared to the omega 3 supplements you get at the store.

 

Me too w/ the Prima care prenatals - lots of omega 3...

 

i took primacare during my pregnancy. it was befor ethey had primacare one, so it was one vitamin and one fatty acid supplement.

 

I took them, I think they were made by Enfamil?

ETA...Enfamil Expecta Lipil is what they are called!
