I have about 20 Avent bottles from 2005 that I used with my son. I can't seem to find any sight to inform me if they are now BPA free or not.
Does anyon have an knowldege about how to look up old bottles for BPA free content? I registered for Born Free bottles but it would be great if I my old bottles were just a as safe.

    Thanks,
    Stacy

Those bottles contain BPA and have been banned in Canada.

Here is a link to some information about BPA in the First Year forum. :) Check out the link.

I had a bunch of avent bottles from 2004 - 2006 and they all had to be tossed because they contained BPA.

    DON'T THROW THOSE BOTTLES AWAY!!!

Yes, they have BPA...BUT, Babies R Us will take them back...no questions asked...and give you BRAND NEW BPA FREE bottles!!! I just took six Avent bottles....all scratched up and used...no receipt...no box...just threw them into a grocery bag and walked in...and got $50 of brand new BPA-free Avent bottles.

As a side note, the BPA free bottles have a natural honey-colored tint to the plastic...
