Okay, we all have computers...

I have my laptop (work laptop) and then our home desktop.

If I am on the desktop, I have to lean forward to use the keyboard... not a fun position since I've dropped and the feeling of the pressure of my thighs on the underside of my belly is not too pleasant!

If I am on my laptop, and sitting on the couch (at 2AM in the morning with the rest of you), I put the laptop on the coffee table, but the same problem - the belly is in the way!

I have a lap desk that is like a sandbag on the bottom half to sit on your lap with a firm surface on the top half for which to place your laptop. Um, my lap disappeared a month ago.

I tried typing on my side, cramp in the neck and the buried arm falls asleep.

So how do you manage to position yourself when on the computer??? (and on this wonderful website!)

when I was on bedrest I would lie on my side and type w/ one hand until my arms started getting numb or I couldn't breathe well. usually then it meant it was time for a nap lol.

When I was on bedrest I had this little bed/breakfast table that I would pull up to my belly and use, but now that I'm off that, sometimes I put my laptop on the arm of my sofa and curl up to it best I can. Otherwise, like now, while I'm sitting up in bed, I have it on my legs and stretch my arms around my belly to type.

I either lay on my side with the laptop propped on a pillow (as I'm doing right now), or I'm really bad and lay reclined on a my back with the laptop perched on my belly. I usually put a blanket or something between the laptop and my belly so it doesn't get too hot, but usually after 15 minutes or so the babies start kicking it, so I roll back over on my side. I am finding it harder and harder to sit at a desk and type, hurts my back too much!

When I was really big at the end, I used one of those Tablemates for my laptop and it worked great, it has about 15 positions it can be put into. I got it at Linens N Things.

I use a TV table sometime or put it on my knees...but both of this i find make me uncomfortable so i only have short stints on the computer.

I sit in the recliner with the legs up (which gives my lap a few extra inches. I put a pillow under the laptop to elevate it. It's been working okay for now, but as I get bigger, I see it becoming a problem. I can only sit at the desktop comp for 5 mins before my legs go numb! UGH!
