Okay so i guess i'm picky

So...we need ANOTHER boys name. We have Brenden Lee (Lee after DH's middle name) and Landon Alan (Alan after my dads middle name.) This time, we're having another boy and we need a name now. I like names like Cooper, Hunter and Peyton. DH doesnt so much. I also dont want a name that can be made into a nickname. Call me crazy...but i dont see people calling Brenden and Landon B or L or Bren or Lan. Get what i'm saying? So...the names we like are Ashton and Peyton. Ironically, both of them are more famous names and we get "oh, after...... blah blah insert famous name here...." and we have to say "no we just like the name. We also like Zachary but not the fact that it can be a NN. So...any suggestions? and our last name is Eyler...so.....thanks for the help in advance...

I like Zachary too. If you call him Zachary from Day 1 it will stick - this worked with my brother who is still a "Thomas" (he's 19 now).

I dont have any name suggestions, but I just wanted to share... We have called our son Nicholas since day 1, some people would say 'oh, Nick' or 'hey Nicky' and we would just say (nicely) 'no just Nicholas' and that always has worked and now he is still known as Nicholas. Anyway, good luck!!

 

As far as nicknames go I did NOT want my Savannah to be called Vannah and she never @ nearly 15yo. but thats her choice as she gets older,kwim?

I LOVE the name Paris but would NEVER use it because of stupid Paris Hilton! LOL!

I like Jayden nd Cayden too but my cousins baby is named Cayden and my SIL's son is Cadyn and they have a cousin that is a twin named Brayden (that would have been brendens name had she had them after us) and DH's best friends sons name is Jayden. Those names are out. We though of Ayden for a first name but ayden and cayden are too close in my opinion.

**I think we'll go with Peyton Louis. I'm partial to Peyton and we think it sounds good with Brenden and Landon. So we'll have Brenden Lee, Landon Alan and Peyton Louis. whatdya think?
