I had the worse headache yesterday! I thought it was a caffiene headache, but when I drank something with caffiene it didn't go away. I drank a bunch of water and it was still there. I ate - still there. It lasted for at least 18 hours. There were no other symptoms and I didn't take anything (well, I took a small dose of my son's infant Tylenol), but I didn't have any adult Tylenol here.
When it got up this morning it was pretty much gone. I stayed home from work today to kind of take it easy.
    Any ideas on this one?

My other drama - pelvic pain. Ouchie man - my pelvic and hip areas are so achy. It seems much too early for this pain. My cervic is long and closed tight so I know it isn't any problems like that. Jordan (baby A) if pretty low (he was actually waving on the ultrasound screen when they were checking my cervix) -but he is much too small to be putting pressure on me yet (4 ounces). Am I just being a wimp?

nope your not a wimp, I'm assuming these are your first babies but I could be wrong, Its just your body changing. Compared to having one baby you body has to compensate for having 2 in there. As far as the headache goes I had them like that all through my pregnancy with my boys and I'm starting to get them now with this one. Try Aromatherapy if it doesn't make you sick to your tummy. It seemed to help me when it didn't make me sick.

Thanks Katie - this is my second pregnancy. I had pain with my son, but definitely not this early.

I guess I really have to remember that having 2 if VERY different than having 1.

Not a wimp...the joys of carrying twins! I had headaches(worse than normal) all the way through. As far as the pain in your hips and pelvis, sounds like the normal growing pains, and pressure of having 2 babies in there.

Where do you live? I had a HORRIBLE heachache yesterday I'm blaming on this big storm system (I'm in PA) and it's still pretty bad today so I'm going to sleep awhile.

    Hope you're feeling better soon,
    Krista

No your not a wimp. I had pains in the same area at your stage. It is the extra weight and a baby could be sitting on a nerve. My doctor suggested getting a pregnancy belt. It really helps, although it will not take away all of the pain. Just hang in there. :hug99:
