Okay, I'm Better

First of all, thank you ladies for getting me through this oh-so-crappy day. Many of you actually made me laugh out loud which is what I really needed. I talked to my husband and let everything out and he informed me that his comment about running out of my SAHM funds was just a trick to take my mind off of Caleb. His plan was to tell me later that it was a joke, but we fell asleep and he forgot about it. He's done this on several occasions and I should have seen it coming, but didn't. He had to show me all bank accounts to prove that he really was bluffing. Apparently he gets a kick out of my "what a relief" reaction. So glad I'm here to amuse him, right .

We also discussed the boys' development and I gave him a few links to check out (including real life mom posts about the same issues) and he admitted that he has no clue what they should or should not be doing but trusts that I do. I think it helped.

As for the ECHO, we got the appointment time straightened out but found out that we won't get results until MONDAY from our pediatrician! It's gonna be a loooong weekend. DH told me he would call our pedi and beg for him to somehow get us the results sooner if at all possible. I told him I can't do it becuase I harass that poor man via phone, email, fax, telegram, you name it!

And the frenemy (love the SATC reference Carrie ) ...you've all pretty much confirmed what I've known for a long time. It's got to to end. The funny thing is, when I evaluate the cons of ending our friendship, all that comes to mind is that she's my Gymboree stand-in for when my mom or dad can't go with me. Quite an indication of the value of that relationship, huh? Thank you ladies for listening to me whine today and offering so many kind words. I will keep you all posted about Caleb.

So glad you're feeling better! But you need to think of a way to payback DH for that little prank!

I take my girls to Gymboree by myself and it works out fine. There is actually another twin mom in our level 3 class and sometimes she is there alone with her boys too. If you dump that crazy friend, you could always try taking them by yourself and see if it works out!
