okay... identical or not? a picture

okay here's a pic of the girls. their faces look identical in this picture, but their heads are shaped differently. i know some of you said that your twins were like this till they got older... do they look identical to you?

The do look identical!! Face shapes can be different with identicals. My face is rounder than my identical twin sister's face. She is also 1.5 inches taller than me.

 

Head shape is actually determined by position in the uterus (according to my doctor), so it's very typical to have identical twins with different head shapes. Your girls look identical to me!

 

Without reading any other responses... I say ID for sure... IMO. They are adorable (and we have those same jammies!! LOL) I do not think I could tell them apart.

They are so cute!!! I think they look an awful lot alike too. My girls look a lot a like now too- but are only a week old- the placentas definitly came back di/di- so I am thinking about using a bit of tax check money to do the test

thanks, guys! okay, my doc said the surgeon said they are monochorionic/diamniotic... i was really convinced that two placentas fused into one, but as they get older, they are starting to look more and more alike (minus the head shape and the hair)... of course as their mommy i can totally tell them apart

 

Same blood type, right? They are totally identical. I have one with a rounder head and one with a longer head. I attribute it to one being born vaginally and the other c-section. Everyone else thinks they look exactly alike.

 

Definitely identical! I'm too lazy to post pictures, but you can look on my website to see my so-called identical boys and you'll see just how different they can look. I also had one trapped in the back and under my pubic bone. His head and face were pretty wacko for a while bless his little heart. Of course I didn't realize it until I looked at pictures months later. All I saw was perfection at the time!

They ook identical to me, and adorable!! Head shape can be caused by how they are positioned in the womb.

I about cried when I saw those outfits!! Those were my little girls coming home outfits!!! We coudlnt' use htem because they were such tiny premies but I still have a special spot for those outfits!
