Ok probably asked and answered

Amy and Matthew are 4 1/2 months and we are to begin rice cereal. Yeah I know it seems like every Pedi has his/her own way of doing things. But I am not questioning that. The babies are eating well and we will see if they tae to the cereal.

My question is WHERE? Matthew has better neck support than Amy but neither can sit up without being propped.

Where did you all begin? highchair? bouncy seat?- we have those. bopies? we have those? bumbos we do not have those my lap?have one

 

We started with them in the bouncy seats. Actually I still use them a lot. Sometimes, I will feed them separately and then I will put them in the bumbo (we only have 1).

 

Same as the pp. We started in the bouncy seat, until they could sit in a high chair.

 

My girls are using high chairs..... they have the ones that recline so they are leaning back a little..... they do great in them....

 

I think we used the bouncy sets until they were too big for them and then we moved to the high chair.

 

I use the feeding chairs by The First Years. They worked wonderfully for us and take up much less space than a high chair (we have limited space in our house).

I imagine bouncy chairs would work similarly but my boys have very little interest in those chairs.

 

We have just started giving the girls cereal and are using the bouncy seats. It's working great.

 

We just started cereal on Sunday. We have the Fisher Price space saver high chairs. Since they recline back almost like a bouncy we have been using them. So far it is working great.

 

Chase sinks the bouncy now so we use carseats or I prop them up in the recliner in the nursery until I get highchairs or booster seat things.

The girls have been using the bouncies to eat, but we have found the first years portable high chairs and are now going to start using them at the dining room table.
